Hi!
I'm Kirsty; I'm a new mum to a beautiful and feisty baby girl and two crazy pups and a wife to one pretty awesome guy.
I love to travel the globe and spend time at the beach. I'm you're quintessential 'girly girl', I'm a lover of Disney movies, pretty things, pink frilly stuff, glitter and I have always been a little make up obsessed! In saying that I don't mean I cake it on, less is more after all but I have always loved the way it can transform people, I love the feeling one subtle swish of mascara or a lick of gloss can bring.
As a teenager I spent many a time experimenting with makeup, aiming for different looks, I loved playing with colours, perfecting my techniques and mixing products! I would buy DOLLY and GIRLFRIEND magazines, skip the articles and head straight for the beauty pages, eager to try the new tips and tricks of the month.
At the age of 14 I was ‘scouted’ by a modelling agent while working at my after school job and thought ‘why not give it a go’, luckily my parents agreed and 12 years on I am still modelling and am now lucky enough to be signed to arguably Queensland’s best modelling agency, Dally’s Models. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with some of the best makeup artists and photographers in the country and as a result I have picked up many behind the scenes tips and tricks along the way.
In 2010 I decided to make it official and completed a beauty course at The College of Natural Beauty in Fortitude Valley Brisbane, taking from the course more inspiration and knowledge about makeup and began working as a freelance makeup artist.
By booking me you can be assured to get an experienced and friendly Makeup Artist, who will only use the best products on you, if I won’t use it on my face I won’t use it on yours!
I can offer some hair services however at this stage; sadly I am not completely set up to offer all hair services.
The GOOD NEWS is I know many talented and affordable Hair Dressers who I would be able to suggest.
If you would like to proceed with one of my trusted associates I will do all the organising and coordinating with them for you so you only have to worry about dealing with the one person.
Nothing like killing two birds with one stone!
